What We Do

Community Health

In some countries, we provide medications and facilitate necessary surgeries for individuals who might not otherwise have the opportunity to receive care.  Below are pictures depicting some of the ways we are assisting with community health. We have brought supplies, facilitated training of health workers, provided First Aid Courses for villagers through the Zimbabwean Red Cross, helped equip traditional birth attendants, and provided transportation, vitamins, and clinic equipment such as nebulizers, stethoscopes, and BP cuffs. We supplied reading glasses. On one occasion we fixed the mortuary compressor so that people would have time to gather their relatives for the funerals of their loved ones. In that same small village, we repaired the motor for the water pump that supplied the whole area with water.

Sewing & Other Small Business

We work with people in rural areas to develop business plans and provide them with the tools they need to implement those plans, such as making school uniforms for their children or to barter/sell to others. These are just some of the items made by the  people which we sponsor.  We provided the sewing machines and material and sponsored a week-long instruction for about 60 people. They are continuing on quite successfully.

Conservation Farming

We provide assistance to those who are in need of resources in order to set up small businesses such as raising chickens, making bricks, running beauty shops, fishing, and growing vegetables. We are teaching them about Conservation Farming through education and assistance with resources. We assist them to live, feed their families, provide for their children’s schooling, and contribute to the economic development of their villages, and ultimately, their country. We are also helping to build a church/community center.
